PCI flooring products: modern, reliable and environment-friendly

Since the market launch in 1999 environmental friendliness in soft flooring technology has been an important and indispensable part of product quality for PCI. A thorough selection of raw materials for the formulation of products and modern production and quality management procedures combined with the necessary know-how – all this is standard and a guarantee for the high quality standard of PCI soft flooring products – for workmanship, reliability in application and environmental friendliness.

The certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001/14001 and OHSAS 18001 of the plants in Augsburg, Hamm and the Lutherstadt Wittenberg is just another acknowledgement of our quality structure.

    Updated information on PU products

Methylendiphenyl-Diisocayanate (MDI) contained in PU products can be a hazard to your health in case of repeated contact with skin and inhalation of the aerosol. The classification of products containing MDI will now be extended by the phrase R 40: Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect. This is based on the directive (EG) 790/2009 – Adaptation of CLP regulation to the technical and economical progress. Deadline for this modification is December 1, 2010.

PCI Augsburg GmbH will implement the new regulation as of 3rd quarter 2010. All customers were informed accordingly.
